In 2022, CMG-TV continued connecting deeply with our communities to generate critical conversations and support important events that positively impact our audiences. While we don’t do it for the awards, it’s nice when they come. Here’s a snapshot of how CMG TV has been recognized:

    Atlanta Press Club Hall of Fame

    Two beloved WSB-TV personalities – Jovita Moore and Lorenzo “Lo” Jelks – were inducted into the Atlanta Press Club Hall of Fame for the significant and lasting impact they had on journalism in Georgia and across the country.

    Emmy Awards

     

    Our stations won numerous Emmy awards, including multiple Emmys at each of our stations in Pittsburgh, Seattle, Dayton, Orlando, Boston, and Atlanta.
  • WSB Debate Set

    Political Townhalls

     

    During this important political year, our stations (KIRO7, WSB-TV, and WSOC in Charlotte) hosted Town Halls with gubernatorial or U.S. Senate candidates.
  • Daralene Jones receiving award

    Outstanding Citizen Award

     

    WFTV anchor, Daralene Jones, earned the Randy Felton Outstanding Citizen Award and a Suncoast Regional Emmy Award for her documentary on the Ocoee Massacre.
