Job Title:  Credit & Customer Support Spec

 

Position Overview

The A/R Support Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day administration of various A/R duties for CMG’s Radio, TV, and Digital stations.  Primary emphasis will be duties with the Pay Team, which handles customer payments and order clearing, and Credit Team, which handles credit analysis and account set up and maintenance.

 

Requires strong attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills.  Will serve in a collaborative manner to support in other capacities in additional to essential duties and responsibilities.

 

Must be a motivated self-starter with ability to take initiative working in a detail-oriented job, and unafraid to ask questions while training.  Must be able to function independently as well as with a team.  Successful candidate will be able to collaborate effectively with others, including internal and external clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answers and places phone calls and/or emails to facilitate payments via credit card or ACH.
  • Uploads cash files into WO Traffic system per schedule
  • Follows standardized procedures in order clearing process.
  • Maintains organizational system of shared inbox to increase efficiency for all who access this inbox.
  • Prepares and sends demand notices to delinquent accounts.
  • Pulls needed reports on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Backup for account setup and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Broadcast and/or appropriate A/R experience
  • Demonstrated effective customer service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat 

Preferred Qualifications

  • WideOrbit experience a plus
