Sales Assistant - WSB TV

Position Overview

WSB-TV is looking a full-time National/Local Sales Assistant to support our sales team and national sales offices. In this position you will need to successfully operate in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a key contributor to our sales team's success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Enter TV sales orders into our internal operating system while meeting strict deadlines.
• Maintain schedules and paperwork.
• Process makegoods in internal and external order management systems and confirm approvals.
• Send Late Run notifications withing 24 hours, allowing client time to re-spend money if past cut-off.
• Resolve any advertiser schedule discrepancies.
• Assist local sales account executives and sales managers with important tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Work with Programming Director on sales inventory maintenance.
• Provide Pre-Log and Post Log times.
• Prepare post campaign reports

Minimum Qualifications

• A professional and positive attitude
• Highly organized and possess the ability to switch focus quickly when needed and work on multiple projects at the same time.
• Accurate computer data entry skill and ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, able to act with a sense of urgency and adhere to set deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Must be able to work in highly collaborative environment.
• Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills providing quick response time and accurate issue resolution.
• Results-driven and highly accountable.
• Self-directed, motivated, and with exceptional multi-tasking abilities.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree preferred but not required.
